Yet Another Monday
Who Shaped

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name. (KJV) ( Amos 4:13 )
If you haven’t noticed lately, we are surrounded by beauty every day. From deep blue oceans to the crisp whiteness of new fallen snow to chipper birds full of songs, all of it was created by God for His glory. With all of the earth singing His praises, He still shares Himself with us and pursues us. Let’s give glory to God for all of the blessings He bestowed on us.
Polar Vortex

It’s definitely cold outside. There was a low of -3 yesterday and today -5. Then we will slowly warm up, as I guess the rest of the country will too. We will have highs in the 40s by the beginning of next week. At least I can say it was colder elsewhere than in Vermont. Sometimes, especially when the wind is blowing in your face, I feel it couldn’t get any colder, yet there are always colder places. I was born a southerner and that will always be in my blood, but I have to admit, I enjoy colder weather over the heat of the South. I just miss the food in the South and my family.
Hide in the Pillow

Sometimes you just want to hide in the pillows. Yesterday was one of those day.other than teaching a class that went exceptionally well, I was fighting staying awake the whole day. I didn’t always succeed, but I got throug the day. Then I took my neighbor out for her birthday. She had had a rough day, so I’m glad I cheer her up.
