Moment of Zen: Shopping

I love to go shopping (and people watching), especially when it’s not too crowded, I’d never go shopping on Black Friday, unless all of these guys were in the same store, then it might be worth it.

I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient.   What a bumper issue of slim fit men shopping in today’s instalment, but here it’s far too cold to be clothed in such summery stuff!

  At my local supermarket, alas, there are no Nasty Pig undies for sale:( One day perhaps!

    It’s far too cold here as well. Currently, it’s 15 F (-9 C).

      Grrrrr -9C is far too cold. Here it’s 3C and that’s bad enough. I was born in the Tropics and am used to 30C plus.

      I was born in a humid subtropical climate and was used to 30 C to 35 C for most of the year. I hate heat and humidity, so I prefer the cold, but -9 C is a bit much to be outside more than a few minutes.
