Most of yesterday, I had a bad headache. I even went home early from work, which I never do. After taking my headache medication and getting some sleep, it seemed to go away, but sadly it came back a few hours later. So I went to bed early last night.

I have a bad case of swimmer’s ear, and I didn’t even get to go swimming.  I’m not sure what caused it, but it started on Thursday. Friday and Saturday I didn’t have time in my schedule to go to the doctor, but I finally got to go yesterday. I had to go to one of those urgent care places. I hate those places. They never give the greatest care. They just get you in and get you out. If I was still in Alabama, I’d have waited two or three hours, but this is Vermont where the wait was luckily only 15 minutes. Let me tell you, swimmer’s ear is quite painful, but do you think they’d give me anything for pain? No. Vemont must be the stingiest state for pain relief. They always suggest over the counter medication. It may help, but it doesn’t work completely. There is still pain. Ugh, Vermont and their weird ways and hippie-dippie lifestyles drives me insane. At least it’s a liberal state, but they are not liberal when it comes to health care.

Did anybody see the new Star Trek? It was fabulous. I can’t wait for more.

It’s the headache that just won’t go away.

I’m still struggling with an on again, off again headache. I will post more when I’m feeling better. The change in air pressure often causes these headaches and the storm we had the other night didn’t help things.

I forgot to write a post last night, and I have a headache this morning, so no post today. I’m going back to bed.

I didn't feel like writing much more than the title.

For most of the weekend, I suffered from a major headache. It meant that a lot of things I’d planned to do, did not get done. I did a little bit of the housecleaning I’d planned to do, but not enough. It was also very hot this weekend which hampers me from doing much besides sit in front of the fans. Most Vermonters don’t believe in air conditioning, and thus my apartment doesn’t have one. I’d planned to go get an air cooling system, similar to an air conditioner but not quite one, however, my headache prevented me from making that trip to Burlington. Hopefully, this week will be more productive.

This is the cold that keeps on giving. Every time I think that I’ve beaten it, it flares up again. I have been coughing and sneezing for the past several days and otherwise just feeling miserable. I hope none of you are experiencing this particular strain of cold.

Codeine makes a great addition to cough syrup, but it also makes it incredibly hard to stay awake.

After a week of coughing and sore throat, I am finally on the mend. The only problem is that as I recuperate from having a cold, I developed pink eye. Pink eye is highly contagious so I may have to stay home another day. It’s all according to how I feel when I wake up this morning. At least the doctor gave me some good cough syrup and medicine for my eyes.
