I look forward to warmer weather and no snow so I can do some hiking again. There are ways to hike in the winter, but I don’t have the necessary equipment.

Trust me, it isn’t much, but every little bit helps.

So when warm weather returns I am planning a hiking vacation and it’s got to be shirtless on the trail just for the male feel of the wind on the chest. Nude hiking??? Not of others are on the trail. Be respectful of others. Barefoot hiking if the terrain allows can be cool.

Where I go to hike, there is never anyone around, and I’d always keep on my hiking boots. The terrain is too rocky here to go barefoot. There are a few places in Vermont where people hike nude to swimming holes. With public nudity legal in Vermont, there are a few places like that. I have yet to be brave enough to go, and they aren’t very close. Most are on the other side of the mountains or in far southern Vermont.

Planning on hiking again in the Badlands and Black Hills of So Dak and trails are heavily used, so shirtless works, not nude! Anywhere! I actually have hiked barefoot on some forest trails where stream crossings meant removing boots TOO often. Easier to wash feet than put on wet boots.
