Super Bowl?

  • Did you watch the Super Bowl?
  • How did you watch the game? Alone? At home? With friends? At a bar? Etc.
  • Did you have any good Super Bowl snacks?
  • Did your team win?
  • What commercial was your favorite?

My answers:

  • I watched the Super Bowl until halftime after I watched Rihanna’s halftime show. After that, I was feeling tired, and I wasn’t interested in the game, so I just went to bed.
  • I watched it at home and alone.
  • I didn’t have any snacks. I’ve been trying to eat better lately.
  • If I had to choose a team, I’d probably have chosen Philadelphia, so no, my team did not win.
  • A few of them, I couldn’t even tell you what they were advertising, and none of them particularly stood out for me. I probably missed some by turning off the game, but if there were really good ads, I’ll probably see them in the news or many, many times as I watch TV.

About Joe

I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient. I feel like October 7, 2015 is my new birthday. It's a beginning filled with great hope. It's a second chance to live my life…not anyone else's. My profile picture is "David and Me," 2001 painting by artist Steve Walker. It happens to be one of my favorite modern gay art pieces. View all posts by Joe

I didn’t watch a single bit of it, have absolutely no interest in any of it. Instead, I attended a nudist gathering in my area that offered great food, excellent conversation, and a much better dress code.

If I had a guy like the one in the picture I’d say forget the game, and let’s play ball. ONly exception: If the Ravens were playing.

I usually don’t watch football but someone I know was going to watch it so I did, alone. No snacks. I was hoping for KC because I like their baseball team but after they denied the receivers catch because of lack of control, I switched to Philly. He caught the ball and didn’t drop it. Come on. I generally don’t watch the commercials on any program so couldn’t tell you about them. The half time show was the highlight of the game. Not Rihanna but the dancers were phenomenal, fantastic and excellent.

Did you watch the Super Bowl?
Watched the second quarter and the half time show.

How did you watch the game? Alone? At home? With friends? At a bar?
Watched it at home with my partner, Sergio.

Did you have any good Super Bowl snacks?
We were eating our dinner – chix cacciatore.

    Did your team win?
I was Team Rihanna so in a manner of speaking, I guess so.

    What commercial was your favorite?
The one with Bradley Cooper and his Mom.

I’m with Dave. I don’t care for football but I do enjoy the commercials. I’d rather be nude though with all my buddies and he’s right in that the dress code’s phenominal. If I had to play anything it would be with the guy in the photo.
