Moment of Zen: Fall Semester

If you live near a college campus, you’ve probably already seen this sight a time or two. It seems like guys at colleges love to bond by running together or they may just need to get out by themselves for a bit. Regardless of the reason, it makes for a lovely (and distracting) sight.

I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient.     Joe, this very off topic but might be of interest given your life story. FX debuts a new show on 9/2 called English Teacher, which is about an openly gay high school teacher in Austin TX. Stars and written by Brian Jordan Alvarez, who played Jack’s boyfriend/husband on Will & Grace

    The two times I lived in Austin, TX brought this sight to my eyes regularly….nothing like that in my retirement community!!!
