I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient. I feel like October 7, 2015 is my new birthday. It's a beginning filled with great hope. It's a second chance to live my life…not anyone else's.     Completely stunning! I adore how the eyes of the fellow on the left are facing back—just waiting for Lord knows what sort of fun and games! And I’m thinking “I know what to do but where do I start?” Incredibly delicious choices! You’ve outdone yourself, Joe!

    Dear Joe

    Today’s image has to be one of your very best. The eager anticipation of the younger looking back at the older and his concentrated stare at his young friend and thinking “let’s get on with this”. Both are clearly on a semi, and no doubt their heartbeat rates are increasing. If only we know who they are and who so successfully captured the image in his camera.

    Don’t feel reluctant to send us a few more in similar vein.
