I woke up a little later than usual this morning, and I don’t have much of ann idea for a blog post today. However, I will say that my dental appointment for my crown went pretty well, but two hours in a dental chair is a long time. The temporary crown has been put in place, at least that part is over. The next step will come in about a month when the permanent crown will be ready. That’s usually a quick process. The temporary crown is taken off and the new permanent crown will be put in place. The last time I had this done, it took at the most ten minutes.
Have a great day! Here’s your Isabella pic of me week:
I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient. I feel like October 7, 2015 is my new birthday. It's a beginning filled with great hope. It's a second chance to live my life…not anyone else's.
My profile picture is "David and Me," 2001 painting by artist Steve Walker. It happens to be one of my favorite modern gay art pieces.

I must have more uneven teeth (I never had braces), but I sure do remember the “bite bite bite” on the blue articulating paper. Cheers!
