One thing I am going to miss about my time in Rhode Island: watching the sunrise and the sailboats going out to see from my hotel room. My room faces east, so I have a great view. It’s a truly beautiful sight.

Trust me, it isn’t much, but every little bit helps.

I think I’d rather look at his crevice as opposed to boats!
Joe, I had a great session at the pancreatic cyst and cancer center. One cyst is problematic and it will be biopsied on Nov. 19, so we can be certain…but all bets are on benign. What a relief!

That is a relief. I am so glad you received good news. I think we all needed a little good news this week.

I totally agree, Joe. My friend Mary has finally determined the date for the burial of her husband’s ashes. It’s been well over three weeks since he died unexpectedly and she has been overwhelmed. So tomorrow I can finally get my airline reservations made. Mary did ask me write his obituary and has asked me to lead the services at the graveside. They were living in Knoxville but he’ll be buried in South Carolina and it’s been a challenge to show her support across the miles. I’m a hugger and phone calls don’t seem like enough. I knew Jim for 54 years and they were married for 35 years so I’ve been her link to some of. the decades she missed. A friend here in Indy commented on how hard his death was affecting me, with the assumption that he was my longest best friend, but I have 3 friends I met in the 3rd grade. I’m rambling…sure a certain feline is glad you are home! Peace, Bruce
