Moment of Zen: Sunrise 🌄

During this time of year in Vermont, I get to watch the sunrise over the mountains on my way to work. It’s so beautiful, and I feel lucky to see the sunrise each day.

It’s always difficult to tell if a picture is showing a sunrise or sunset, but I chose images that I thought were more likely sunrise: men exercising, in a towel after a morning shower, or looking towards the dawn of a new day.

I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient.   Such lovely men…a gift to start the day! Thanks, Joe! I’m battling a sinus infection (again)…don’t need a calendar to tell me when the seasons change!

  I keep returning to these and thinking about how it has been since I’ve been nude on a beach…11 years…wow…we do have a gay nudist camp just south of Indy so there is that outlet/resource…
