Sick

I feel like crap.  I have what seems to be a bad head cold, probably due to the drastic changes in temperature here the last few day. I have a low grade fever, which just makes me feel worse. Hopefully I will get better soon.

I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient.   Hope you got your flu shot and it is not the flu!The flu is rampant early this year. Schools are closing for non-attendance of both teachers and kids. There have already been 3 deaths in NC.

  Please get well, Joe. I was sick a couple of weeks ago and my mom is stricken with pneumonia.
