I’m at the age when I have to have a colonoscopy, and it’s scheduled for this morning. I’m dreading having this procedure, but hopefully, it won’t be too bad.
On a more cheerful note, the guy above is the actor/model/nurse Nate Crnkovich. He was the winner of Mister Supernational, and works as a traveling nurse. Sorry guys, he appears to be straight. With all that said, he also played a model in the show Minx in which he was as a living version of Michelangelo’s David. You can see a clip of this here.
I began my life in the South and for five years lived as a closeted teacher, but am now making a new life for myself as an oral historian in New England. I think my life will work out the way it was always meant to be. That doesn't mean there won't be ups and downs; that's all part of life. It means I just have to be patient. I feel like October 7, 2015 is my new birthday. It's a beginning filled with great hope. It's a second chance to live my life…not anyone else's.
My profile picture is "David and Me," 2001 painting by artist Steve Walker. It happens to be one of my favorite modern gay art pieces.

Yes, it was shown in the US, and I watched every episode. I loved that show. He does resemble Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey.
My favorite actor on the series was Allen Leech. Early in his career, Leech made a movie called Cowboys & Angels in which he played a gay character. Did you ever see it?

He looks just like Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey shown on ITV in the UK. Did that series ever make it to the USA?

Yes, he was. He later married one of the daughters, I think.
